Maddie the Mad Dog went back to the Gettysburg Battlefield. She wanted to tour the battle and take pictures of all the famous spots. She found out that not only SALLIE ANN was at the battle but also an Irish Wolfhound was there too. Maddie wanted to see the monuments to the dogs. Sallie Ann was with a Pennsylvania Regiment. The Irish Wolfhound was with the Irish Brigade. Most people have no idea that there were dogs at the the battle for all three days. So, Maddie asked me to take her to see Sallie Ann & The Irish dog. Also, she wanted to walk the field to see where a new birth of freedom was formed.

Remember, Maddie was born on April 15th. The day President Lincoln died. Maddie and I have a special place in our hearts for Abraham Lincoln. Since I have read many books on the Civil War, Maddie wanted to get her own view of that most important time.

Maddie's Trip to Gettysburg has been updated and expanded. As you can see, it has grown with our second trip. We added 70 new & better photos. We had a tremendous response from all of our friends, so we decided to make some changes. Maddie hopes you enjoy our favorite Battlefield !
